Edward Wilson

PFSCM Director

Edward Wilson has over 35 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management, including managing complex multi-country public health projects, creating and leading project teams, and building and maintaining positive and productive client relationships with governments and international organizations. As Director of PFSCM, Edward oversees a supply chain services organization that has sourced, procured, and delivered over US$1.61b worth of health commodities to 111 countries for a range of public, private, and non-profit clients since 2019.

In addition to serving as PFSCM Director, Edward is also Director of JSI’s Center for Health Logistics, overseeing 35 projects annually across Asia, Africa, and Latin America that improve access to medicines and medical supplies for a range of clients, including foundations, bilateral and multi-lateral donors, and private companies.

Edward’s current interests include driving continuous improvement through improved data visibility and use, building partnerships at the national level to drive supply chain transformation, and helping national governments move from operating public health supply chains to being stewards of the public’s access to medicines.

Edward has a Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College, a Master of Science degree from the George Washington University, and a MITx MicroMasters in Supply Chain Management.

Erin Seidner

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Erin Seidner brings more than 25 years of experience in health supply chains, finance, operations, procurement, and contracting to her role as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at PFSCM. In her 20-year career in international public health, Erin has supported public health projects in over 100 countries and securely managed billions in donor-funded health commodity procurement. Erin is committed to promoting sustainable health supply chains that prioritize greener outcomes, increased innovation and efficiencies, and support local empowerment. 

Erin’s client-centric approach and data-driven decision-making aim to bring impactful change to public health. Her senior financial and operational management roles for programs funded by various donors, including USAID, The Global Fund, private foundations, and donation projects at PFSCM, JSI, and Management Sciences for Health, have demonstrated her expertise in implementing diverse supply chain projects. 

Erin holds a Master of Arts in International Development from American University, Washington D.C., and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Foreign Languages.

 

Ard van Dongen

Strategic Supply Chain Director

Ard van Dongen has 25 years of end-to-end supply chain experience in the healthcare industry. He served PFSCM from 2009 through 2015 as the Director of Procurement and Supply Services, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement in the procurement of life-saving medicines, and the optimization of international supply chains to ensure commodity security in developing countries.

In 2015 he founded Pillango Development, a consulting firm committed to helping healthcare organizations innovate and continuously improve their service delivery related to procurement, logistics, supply chain, and information communication technology. In 2018 he rejoined PFSCM as Strategic Supply Chain Director.

Ard has held various positions in the pharmaceutical and logistics industries, as well as with the international humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), where he spent eight years leading procurement and supply chain projects and as head of mission. He worked in both headquarters and field offices, including postings in Sudan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.

Ard holds a Master of Science degree in Business Informatics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands, and a Master’s degree in Transport and Logistics from the TiasNimbas Business School, Tilburg, Netherlands.

Perry van Dam

IT Director

Perry has over 30 years of experience in the commercial sector, including 20 years in logistics, transportation, and supply chain-related businesses.

Perry has worked at AP Möller Maersk, Den Hartogh Logistics, Depot Connect International, Domino Printing Sciences, Brandloyalty, and Viterra. He is an experienced strategy and tech-savvy leader who can forge strong relations with various stakeholders globally. He has a positive can-do mentality, and can quickly adapt to changing environments. From 2008 onwards, Perry has focused more on strategic management, digital transformation, and emerging innovative solutions to increase customer experience, business efficiency, cost reduction, and time to market.

Perry joined PFSCM in December 2023 as IT Director to continue PFSCM’s Digital Transformation journey to increase operational excellence and customer experience.
His areas of interest include Digital Transformation, Data Analytics and Data-Driven decision-making, AI, Cyber Security, Productivity and Collaboration, Project, Portfolio and Change Management.

Perry holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration specializing in strategic management and innovation from the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Ishmael (Ish) Muchemenyi

4PL Services Director

Ish has 30 years of experience managing transportation and logistics in private and public health supply chains in the developing world.

He joined PFSCM in 2013, as the Freight and Logistics Unit Lead, and has been instrumental in building and transforming PFSCM’s differentiated, category-based freight services approach since then.

A pragmatic, hands-on practitioner with global experience in logistics and transportation, negotiations, operations, and project management, as well as budget planning, Ish led the successful deployment of a multiple freight forwarder strategy and business process transformation, which continues to deliver best-of-breed logistics solutions at the best market price possible.

Today, as PFSCM’s 4PL Services Director, he is driving service excellence and cost optimization through deepening strategic partnerships with best-of-breed 3PLs to deliver the best value for money to our clients. Passionate about improved public health supply chain outcomes, Ish regularly represents PFSCM at public forums and has become well-known in the humanitarian logistics sector.

Ish holds a BSc (HONS) in Political Science and Administration and has acquired several qualifications in logistics and supply chain management.

Suzanne Veit

PPM Project Director

Suzanne is an experienced supply chain management professional working in private and public sectors worldwide for over 20 years. She has worked with organizations like HID Global, John Snow Inc, and Tandberg Inc, where she acquired valuable knowledge and skills that she now utilizes in her present position as the PPM Project Director of PFSCM.

Suzanne follows a results-driven approach to continuously improve operations and align PFSCM’s organizational structure and processes with evolving client priorities and environmental changes. Her areas of expertise include forecasting, order fulfillment, data analysis, inventory management, procurement and ERP management, business process design, process mapping, KPI implementation and performance management, SOP development and implementation, continuous improvement, and more. She employs data-driven decision-making and regular client engagement to engage key stakeholders and enhance public health supply chains in emerging markets.

Suzanne holds an MBA in International Business from The George Washington University School of Business and a BA in Communications and Public Relations from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Michael (Mike) Harrigan

Chief Quality and Risk Officer

Mike has over 30 years of management experience in designing, implementing and managing internationally recognized best practice quality management systems (QMS), continual improvement methodologies and practices, and risk management, both in the private and public health sectors. Mike has extensive GDP and MQAS (WHO) experience and has conducted various audits and assessments to these guidelines. Mike formalized the existing QMS culminating in ISO 9001:2008 and subsequent ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2017, and 2019.

Mike heads up both quality systems and product Quality Assurance and Regulatory units, where strategic initiatives include an in-country vendor prequalification program, which has reached seven African countries and has resulted in 40 prequalified vendors.

Mike also initiated a stringent risk management process and continual improvement initiative, which is now an everyday part of PFSCM’s culture.

Mike is a certified IRCA registered Principal Auditor (QMS) and a Medical Devices (ISO 13485) Lead Auditor.

Cristina Ghiga

Head of Client Account Management

Cristina has over 25 years of experience in executing business retention and development strategies. She has managed supply chain operations in Pan-European transport management and warehousing for various industries, such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, industrial, and FMCG companies. Cristina is an expert in running and optimizing business processes, achieving supply chain cost reductions, and improving the overall customer experience.

Since 2003, Cristina has developed strategic account management skills. She has grown from a tactical role, which entailed managing client relationships and account plans, into a strategic role that focuses on implementing client-centric strategies.

Cristina joined PFSCM in March 2016 to enhance PFSCM’s value-added service offering through value co-creation, improving customer satisfaction, rigorously applying company resources, and aligning operations and structure with clients’ needs.

Cristina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrotechnics Engineering from Politechnica University of Bucharest and diplomas in Strategic business development and Strategic Account Management.
