Description:
The kit is intended for qualitative detection of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV-2 ) RNA extracted from oropharyngeal swab, nasopharyngeal swab, sputum, endotracheal aspirate and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid specimens of patients suspected for infection with COVID-19. Target genes detected by the assay are the N and ORF1ab genes of SARS-CoV-2.
